Exothermic Welding Moulds Exothermic Welding is a simple, efficient, high-quality and self contained method for connecting metal conductor. The compact process requires no external power or heat source making it highly portable and easy to use. LEDWELD exothermic welding process is achieved by pouring superheated molten copper alloy (approximately ***0C) on and around the conductors to be connected according to the aluminothermy process (2Al + 3Cuo*****->3Cu + Al2O3). The reaction is controlled within a graphite mould and it only takes a few seconds. Generally, one single mold has a life-expectancy of *0 times (up to **0 times if appropriately maintained). Features: -The process is absolutely safe therefore requires no special protection. -Requires the operator of no professional skill. -Highly portable high operating efficiency. -High copper content alloy strong corrosion resistance.
